Title and Registration, Marriage License, Notary Public, Business Tax, as of January 1, 2010 all Business Tax Returns will be mailed directly from the Department of Revneue. Business owners must file the returns with the Department of Revenue.  County Clerks will only have the ability to open new accounts, close accounts and sell Transit Vendor Licenses.

    You are welcome to visit our office during regular County Clerk business hours for your reasearch needs. 

    This County Clerk office "ONLY" has Marriage records from 1881 to present.

    When the Jackson County Archive Building is completed all Marriage Records from 1881 through 1960 will be entered into the Jackson County Archive Building. The County Clerks office has NO BIRTH OR DEATH RECORDS.

    The County Clerk or my Staff always honors the customers wishes when you call with advance notice and ask us to stay later for you.

    Please give us advance notice so that one of will stay here for you and instruct you on how to get our attention so that we may give you access into the building. 

    The County Mayor or the Janitorial Staff locks all Courthouse doors promptly the same time each day.
