Title and Registration, Marriage License, Notary Public, Business Tax, as of January 1, 2010 all Business Tax Returns will be mailed directly from the Department of Revneue. Business owners must file the returns with the Department of Revenue.  County Clerks will only have the ability to open new accounts, close accounts and sell Transit Vendor Licenses.

• TN Dept of Secretary of State-- http://tn.gov/sos  for Notary Information, Charters, Business Services, Charitable Fund-raising, Elections, Publications and much more.

• TN Dept of Health link to Licensure Verification for health care workers.  http://health.state.tn.us/licensure/ 

• TN Department of Vehicle Commissions.  This link will let you see if a dealership is active or inactive to sell vehicles. Forms to download or email to complain about a dealership and frequently asked questions. http://tennessee.gov/commerce/boards/mvc/index.shtml

• TN Department of Health.  This site lets you apply for a duplicate birth certificate. You will scroll down and on the left you will see "APPLICATIONS AND DOWNLOADS." Click that and it will take you to the page you will need.  http://health.state.tn.us/vr/

  This County Clerk office "ONLY" has Marriage records from 1881 to present.
  
  When the Jackson County Archive Building is completed all Marriage Records from 1881 through 1960 will be entered into the Jackson County Archive Building. The County Clerks office has NO BIRTH OR DEATH RECORDS.
